I think the bag can definitely find a new home -- I'm not a fan of flaps and fussy openings either, and my bags that are too small get used very infrequently, but I keep a couple of them because they work so well with certain outfits. </p> <p>If you have other black pumps or shoes that fit any occasional need you have for shoes like the Pliners and the Nine Wests, I think that's a sign you can let these go. I don't own any black pumps anymore, and occasionally I wish I did, just for a special occasion (when little walking is required). I could never wear those, but I have my own version of&nbsp; &nbsp;"few-hour shoes." &nbsp;They make me feel prepared, &nbsp;and as Suz says, are&nbsp; not so excessive they mock me.<br />I&nbsp;always have to&nbsp;remind myself&nbsp; to try these things on at least once a year, not just to toss but so I won't be relying on something that has become unwearable. Can I get your help with these? I think I may let them all go but would love your thoughts.</p> <p>1. Donald J Pliner black high pumps. Gorgeous, pretty comfortable, but too high and a skinny heel. I've worn these once in the last two years.</p> <p>2. Coach berry red cross body. Two years old, near new. I love how this looks but it is not functional for me. Too much of a pain to life the flap and it is very narrow so doesn't hold much. I use my Tory Burch top handle almost exclusively. I don't think I used this bag once in the past year.</p> <p>3-4. Black Nine West shooties. Everybody loves these when I wear them! But I really really hate the skinny heel. I wear then occasionally.</p> <p>I have a great local consignment shop where I will bring any that have to go. What do you think? </p>
