It is merino wool, that's true, but I don't think it would be too warm worn over a sleeveless top. It's a merino wool mix (with a bit poly and metallic fibres). I like the look of it, but it could end up being a lot boxier than I want. COS generally cuts their stuff very roomy most of the time, fitting with that slouchy architectural look they have. Do you think I should try it? Returns are possible, but I'd have to pay shipping in any case. </p>
