I have been meaning to replace my black DV mid-calf boots which are a very similar style for a while now - the soles are dead and I do not like them enough to pay to have them resoled. The black Fryes would be a direct replacement and if comfy would get worn a lot. </p> <p>HOWEVER, I have been stalking the super cool bronze finished ones (photo 2) for a while. They are not on sale, and not part of NAS. They also might not be as versatile as black. On the other hand, bronze probably goes with everything too. Should I wait for the bronze to go on sale (if they ever do) or should I just bite the bullet and order the black ones?</p> <p>photo 3 is an outfit with my current black moto boots and an example of how I'd wear the veronicas in either color. </p>
