It's been a long time since I posted pictures on the forum- I've generally been feeling confident in my ability to dress myself reasonably well, but I do still read the forum and the blog daily. Today I'm finding myself indecisive about a recent purchase and am hoping you all can help me make a decision. I ordered a high-waisted skirt from an online store, which is always a gamble. I was unsure if a high-waisted skirt would work on my body type, but I thought perhaps if I stuck to fuller skirts it wouldn't be much different than wearing a dress that's waist defining. Now that the skirt has arrived and I've tried it on, I'm worried that it makes me look too hippy (I will always look hippy, but I do try to wear clothing that somewhat minimizes this area).
