I have a dress which I bought in St Kilda in Melbourne, 2015,in a shop's closing down sale- for $5. It is an OTT bright dress which I call my rose garden dress after its brand and also because it has big pink and purple roses on it. My best friend was with me, she had her doubts, my husband isn't sure, my daughter dislikes the different colours and beading around the neck, but still let me wear it to her graduation. It has also been to a wedding. I wear it with my purple shoes and it makes me happy.<br /> Here's me in it with 2 friends at a Brazilian themed 60th birthday of the one in the middle. But the yellow gold one could prove VERY useful for a blonde like you. It has enough va-va-voom in the cut, yet the loghter color, closer to your natural coloring, doesn't stand out,&nbsp; which could prove to become an ally for a more casual, wow-yet-not-in-your-face outfit. I can envision it under darker toppers in cooler temps.</p> <p>Both dresses have a very different aesthtic, despite similar cuts, and you illustrate this beautifully. It's very educational to see. The print and color send off different vibes that can both be exploited to your advantage. Where the red boots infuse lightness and spice in the brocade dress, they anchor the yellow one, set the tone, give it just that little oomph to make it less etheral.
