But realize I don't know how tall you are. If you do shorten it, I would be very conservative at first, trimming and then photographing to assess. I didn't need much encouragement... it's done! And I think it looks great AND it feels comfortable. I had to pop out to the do the grocery shopping so I bought some dressmakers scissors while out as I was concerned my household scissors wouldn't be up to the job! I took a couple of quick pics to compare and make sure the length was good but I will do some proper pics later in the week properly dressed. Thanks for your input. I love the skirt but have worn it once since I bought it. The main issue is the length and the fitted-ness of the skirt making it hard to walk wearing heels.
