But seeing as we are already in hot weather mode here, I’m not sure a sleeved top like this is the wisest purchase, particularly since it’s a bit on the expensive side. I’ll probably pass. That’s just according to how I “ see” you and I have same reaction to some others things that fabbers like on themselves so of course don’t want to keep anyone in a fashion box from which they cannot explore new things. I could see this top more balanced with a skirt.<br /> I am also leery of fabric contents when I look at woven pieces— since many are treated with sizing and pressed for retail and so may never have same crispness unless fully ironed. So the cotton drip- dry may work best with more casual pieces, or I’d also risk having to professionally clean/ iron for something that is a HEWI or occasion- maker and will iron up easily AND will not become terribly re- wrinkled with how I’d wear it.<br /> But often you can’t really tell until putting it through it’s paces. I kind of like the coverage on my arms but hate tight buttons on sleeves because my upper arms are not toned or attractive. Oddly enough I think sometimes sleeveless calls less attention to them than short sleeves, maybe because the emphasis is more on the shoulder. </p> <p>I’m not crazy about 3/4 sleeves unless they are on a very lightweight woven top that’s definitely only for summer wear and doesn’t get layered over. Fitted 3/4 sleeves feel awkward to me.</p> <p>I’m not feeling motivated enough to make a trip and return to the store today so I may not be as enamored as I should be.
