There was a pair of really cute gunmetal and black platform pointed toe loafers (similar profile to my PG's). I tried them on and my heels promptly slipped out as soon as I took a step. I have this problem with a lot of slip-on shoes -- they are too wide, especially in the heel. So I kind of feel like I'm justified in pouncing on this style when I find one that I like AND it fits and is comfortable.&nbsp;</p> <p>Now, just hoping that this style has some longevity in the trends. Cap toe, trim, vamp, that sort of thing. I will wear it when I just cannot bring myself to wear some all metallic, even some of the duller metal tones. It's just that since they are made of leather, they are warmer and more substantial than my other slip-on flats, which are mostly either canvas or perforated leather, so a bit more ventilated in summer.
