They are just structured such that instead of having the empty diaper look ala harem pants, they actually look full of... something - droopy flesh? Yes, definitely not white In the context of the competition, it was meant to evoke "longjohns" (camping) or some such, but yeah the trick is to translate the look into real life.</p> <p>I do have two pairs of harem pants (though not as extreme) so I think I can style these similarly.</p> <p>Anna, a tweedy gray&nbsp;is an awesome idea! Actually, it's perfect for the fall. The beauty of working with a designer is we can modify and fit and such so it works in real life. Well, that's my hope anyhow. </p> <p>I just spent the last hour or so shooting the breeze with Alex and mentioned the pants to her, so we might work something out.&nbsp;She had just gotten back from New York. So excited for her. I've mentioned her boutique and clothes here before.</p> <p>Anyhow, she won last night's glamping challenge, in which the designers had to come up with an editorial, high-end look inspired by a camping trip.</p> <p>I literally gasped when the model came out on the runway. The back detail of the denim jacket, the cool harem pants, wow! One of the judges, Zac Posen, said he hated "poopy pants" but was swayed by this interpretation.</p> <p>I know these pants are pretty extreme, fashionwise, but I'm loving them. Do you think it'd be worth it to have Alex make up a pair for me, or are you thinking, "Are you cray-cray, girl?"</p> <p>If I do get a pair, what color should they be? Black seems like it'd be boring and not show the detail very well.</p> <p> </p>
