It is different. Sort of 2-3 inches above the wrist bone.Three quarter sleeve is shorter than that. Should work alright with a L/S.

Thanks, all of you. What length should bracelet length be? Is it different than 3/4"?
I wear long sleeve fitted tutlenecks alot in the fall, would they work with the cropped sleeve?

Thanks

Thanks, Susan!...Angie, thanks for the inspiration to do the jacket with bracelets. I have some that will work well with it...and could always look for more too!

Nice Judy! That’s exactly what I mean wrt the sleeves. They aren’t cuffed so they look great bracelet length.

About too short sleeves...I have a leather jacket I found in a consignment store that fit me like a glove when I was about 15 pounds heavier. I still wear it, but layer it. It has those 3/4 sleeves described here, and so I wear a longer sleeve top most times with it. It has some "damage", like a distressed look, so it is not appropriate for all occasions, but it's a look I like. I put it on today and took a pic...I only have a tank top underneath, so it looks a bit baggy, but here it is: http://liminal-judy.blogspot.c.....ather.html

Thanks Angie, I will look into that option.
Another question, I am going to London in about a week and want to purchase an authentic biker jacket. I saw some great ones at Portabella (sp?) market last year. I am a size 2-4 and like both an oversized heavy jacket to layer over sweaters and also fitted cropped ones. They seem to have both.

Any suggestions from anyone on which to buy? I am an urban, artistic funky and sometimes romantic syle type.
I own a gallery, paint and teach art. I like an unique look. I am not crazy about designer biker jackets, prefer the look of the real thing.

Thanks

You're right. That’s about 2 inches too short. Sleeves look even shorter because they're cuffed. It would have looked bracelet length if the hem were straight. Thought about having the sleeves hemmed to a ¾ length without the cuff and closures? Good little urban, funky look with a longer sleeve peeking through.

The sleeves are 2" cuffs with a snap closure. It hits my wrist about 1 1/4" up from the wrist bone.

How is the end of the jacket sleeve finished? Cuffed, straight? Where does it end on your wrist?

I like Shiny's suggestion of trying it with long sleeves. It might be an interesting layering look. You could also try it with long gloves.

3/4 length sleeves on jackets has been a big trend. So yes, you are probably fine wearing it, cuffed up or not. Try it with a long sleeve underneath.

Hi everyone,
I bought a beautiful fitted earl jean black leather jean jacket with snap buttons. I cannot take it back. The sleeves are about 2 inches too short. It fits perfectly otherwise. Is there anyway that it can be worn without looking wrong. Maybe cuff up the sleeves?

Thanks
