I actually wear wool sweaters in July/August&nbsp;too, sometimes. So yes, I think it will get worn.<br /><br />Charmian, the thinner ones are typically a result of me trying to shop around a more expensive item. When will I ever learn? They do not have as good fit, and I prefer a boatneck to the scoop. However, they are handy for layering purposes, so not a total waste.&nbsp;<br /><br />Elisabeth, I haven't seen it yet, but I trust that the color is as good as it seems. It is an all season garment, and I love it (see #1). I do have a couple of other striped tees, but they are a lot thinner, have a different neckline (scoop), and can't be layered under (see an example in&nbsp;#2).<br /><br />Now <i>Petit Bateau</i> offers <a rel="nofollow" href="http://www.petit-bateau.co.uk/e-shop/product/32323/4G3/women-s-mariniere-in-heavy-jersey.html">a lighter version of their classic Breton</a> in white and ocean blue (see #3). It is the same quality as my favorite cotton sweater. I think it looks perfect.<br /><br />What should I do? Will I be wasting my money, or is it reasonable to get this version, too? I know that I'm going to wear it a lot, and I like the idea of a lighter version for S/S. Or am I just rationalizing here?<br /><br />Your thoughts on this&nbsp;are highly appreciated.<br /><br />
