I am glad I purchased neither. </p> <p>This is going to sound odd but the lace detail on the dress was what attracted me to it and put me off it at the same time. It it pretty, but I can't see myself wearing lace as a day thing, or even as a night thing necessarily!</p> <p>As for the top, I know it's RATE, but I am a little RATE. I hear you all on the body flattery thing though. And the colour - well in real life, it was more grey than green, and I don't think grey is the best colour on me. Some kind of better fit. But perhaps you can use the idea of it to say, like this but with more of that? And identify more about what occasions and supporting pieces you'd wear with it. It's not a great idea to buy for a fantasy lifestyle but I do think the style of the dress works for your body type. To my eye, the sweater isn't a flattering shape but might work better with a pant that has a slimmer leg. It is pretty, and fits you beautifull, but it is for a fantasy life. I know I have done that - bought something for a lifestyle that isn't mine and then never wear it.</p> <p>Please don't take this wrong, but I don't think the jersey top is flattering on you. It doesn't drape well on you and adds emphasis where I don;t think you want it. I would pass on it as well. Remeber - it is the shirt not you. From there I tried to figure exactly what I need to take me from where I am now to where I want to be style wise. I also wrote a list of descriptors of what I am and what I'm not.
