I am between an 8.5 and 9 in most shoes, many times an 8 in Frye. Got these in 8.5 and I had plenty of room in the toe box during my shift at work (my feet tend to swell during my work day). For normal wear, I could wear a thicker sock and be fine. I also have a 9" ankle and 14" calf at widest point. I hope that helps! </p> <p>Diana, I could totally see you in these. I needed two, specifically, so that I could switch them out (it's not good to wear the same pair of shoes every day). I've not posted them all here, but I've bought and returned sooooo many. I took a huge chance on none other than <a href="http://youlookfab.com/welookfab/topic/gidigio-boots">Una's Gidigio boots </a> when I spotted them on Ebay - shoutout to Una for killer fit advice! I'm beyond thrilled with them. Slim ankle, no ice-cream-cone-calf effect, and I actually had to *loosen* the buckles to fit them over my calf, which is very unusual for me. Super comfy out of the box, and just kick-butt overall. Squee!</p> <p>Second pic is of the coat <a href="http://youlookfab.com/welookfab/topic/left-this-behind-and-still-talking-myself-out-of-it"> I initially left behind </a>. I managed to find one on Ebay, but it was still too pricey, so I made an offer. Happy to report that I love it just as much now as I did when I first tried it on. It's more embellished than my classic black coat, but somehow more casual as well - less dramatic due to the shorter length and softer color. </p> <p>I almost can't believe it after all my returns - TWO deliveries to open and both knock my socks off? I really do feel like a kid at Christmas. </p>
