You might also try DSW. They usually have a variety of shorter thin socks.

I think I saw them at H&M too a few weeks ago. Over here they cost € 9.99 for five pairs.

I picked up a couple pairs of short grey trouser socks at, um, I think it was AT Factory or Target. (Sorry, it was a couple months ago!) They're not usually my thing, but I wanted to wear them with my grey Converse and jeans while it was cold, and I loved the cute patterns along the side.

Yep, I looked at MOA when we were there last weekend (Nordstrom's - hee hee my kids called it Nerdstop, Macy's, and Bloomie's) - none had them so I was starting to think they didn't exist. Then, I rememberd trying on the Brighton's I bought & they had one there. I had asked the sales clerk at the time but she didn't know where it came from. So, I'm thinking they have to exist?! Kari, I actually have a bit wider calves actually but I get (cringe cringe) spider veins a small version of varicose & I've heard that the knee high one's are a contributing factor to that so wanted to stay away (if that's true anyway). I think I've just gotten used to the short one's with my other shoes over the years since hearing that. I will try Von Maur this weekend & see if they have anything in the store as well. Just thought some of the more seasoned shoppers & fashionista's on here might know! Thanks!

I could imagine they exist. Do you have Nordstrom or Macy's close by? If so, I'd visit their hosery dept. and ask, they are very knowledgeable.

Most of the trouser socks I see are the length you usually wear or just below the knee.

Is there a reason you want a mid-calf trouser sock? For me I imagine they would end up rolling down to my ankles, but if your calves are slim maybe this wouldn't be a problem.

Is there such a thing? I typically wear a little sock that comes up a little higher than a traditional anklet (hue is the brand I believe). Wanting to try some trouser socks & wondering if they make anything shorter than knee-high length? I wanted to try them out with a pair of shoes I got last weekend. Thanks for your help!
