I always like when jackets have a little room for layering underneath. Plus at the shorter length it has more swing which adds a nice touch of whimsy to the jacket. Thought it was worth a try -on.&nbsp;</p> <p>It is waterproof, has a zip off hood, no epaullettes or belt, self-colour snaps instead of tortoise buttons, as well as a zipper. So it's not a&nbsp; completely classic trench,&nbsp; but it is double breasted in style andvery much in the vein of the fits we are seeing-- slightly oversized, with a swingy back (and a back vent).&nbsp;</p> <p><b>I tried it first in the S in cream</b> (photos 1, 2, 3, 4, 5). <b>Don't you think the expression on the woman's face in #3 is hilarious?</b> I don't think she is a fan! :)&nbsp;</p> <p><b>Then I tried it in the xs, </b>which also fits. (6, 7,8). I don't know which I like better. I think the S.&nbsp;</p> <p><b>Then in the navy in small.</b> (9) I didn't like the navy as much. I have a lot of navy coats. Enough already.&nbsp;</p> <p>Then the outfit I wore all day and the new hair. (10-11).&nbsp;</p> <p>I liked this coat more than I thought I would but did not buy it yet. Would love your thoughts!&nbsp; I think this definitely demonstrates that it works a charm with wide leg jeans/ trousers. Proportions are fun.&nbsp; </p>
