Now that I'm a size 8 on a good day and size 10 on vacation, with the pearish tendencies that come with too many moons, I find that "shorts" such as these look ghastly on my thunderish thighs. Sigh. I want to wear these, or capris that don't make me look like Grandma Gert: bulgy in front and skin tight in the thighs. But it's not a good idea to expose too much of my knees: Just above the kneecap, I have personal problems. Size 2 was too tight in the bum and thighs (my things are pretty muscular) and the size 4 was too big in the waist, and not in a way that seemed alterable. They might work for more of an apple, but on a rectangle with thighs, they were no good.</p> <p>The <a href="http://shop.nordstrom.com/S/gallia-moda-bermuda-shorts/3223075?origin=category&amp;resultback=3019">Gallia Moda</a> were a bit baggy in the rear, contributing to too much frump for my liking. Note that I am a member of the minimal butt club. They also don't have belt loops, which annoys me.</p> <p>Back to the drawing board! I will probably try the white Kut "boyfriend" shorts next. </p>
