(usually around knee length or just above)</p> <p>As my job requires lots of bending over, climbing ladders, etc., it's practical. Closer to boyshort underwear than bike shorts, but slightly longer and in a thicker fabric. I’d consider black or navy, or I’d look for a color (or a blue/grey/white print!) that is similar to the blue stripe in the dress, or else I’d even consider a contrasting solid color for fun. Kelly green? Coral? Violet? Whatever works with the rest of your wardrobe. They actually call it a 'beach shirt'. &nbsp;I was wondering if it's acceptable for older women, I am 56, to wear short bike shorts underneath? If so, what color?
