Layers beautifully under a coat or light field jacket ( I like it with my army green one). Great for the long days checking out new places. It hits at high hip. I also had a rain jacket for rainy days that I could even layer over this thin down jacket. It’s REI so it should be available in a few colors this fall. </p>
