Great haul. I know what you mean about shopping back home - the array of stores tends to overwhelm me. On the other hand, the free shipping and returns is an amazing luxury!

Thanks missvee

Jabeen, I guess that might be true...as in the online world is fantastic for choice. But I think brick and morten leaves alot to be desired, especially where I am visiting which probably represents 80% of the US. It is not a major city. It is not rural. But it is not a style mecca either. Seems there is alot of cheap, and not just prices, but in design, material, and lack of imagination. Why every retailer jumps on the same trend? Why are cropped pants the only option? It is worldwide, this copycatting, but I have actually chosen to rather shop at home for the other items on my list despite higher prices. I feel the quality is better in many ways. But I do hope for a trip to London, in the near future.

Hi ladies. I thought with a trip to the US with absolutely no plans, I would have plenty of time to catch up on YLF. But I spend most of my day at the hospital with mom. I did get a afternoon shopping between visits yesterday. I found that I was a bit disappointed in the selection in the actual stores. Spending lots of time online dreaming about a visit home, the reality is a bit less exciting. I haven't taken any drives to the bigger cities nearby to see if it is better. I decided to stick close to mom instead.

Anyway, I had my best luck with white house black market. It seems to appeal best to my "little bit of rocker chic and still a girl" style. I also did some online orders where half were returned. But here, lets share...we love seeing the score heh?

I will be posting and running as usual. Meeting a friend for breakfast and then back to the hospital for the day. Sorry about that. It is my life as best I can live it right now.

1. Nordstrom online order..cream NYDJ cords. They have been taken in at the waist, slimmed in the legs, and taken up an inch. I learned to do it watching Youtube one early morning.
2. Amazon online order..snake Vince Camuto booties. Worn once so far. Love
3. DSW find..purple ostrich bag. Angie posted that we needed a modern bag a while back and I hope this counts. Love that color. Used once already.
4. Macy online order - red and blue tunic top. Love
5. WHBM black military ponte blazer...this is going to spice up my casual wardrobe. I want something to look great in when shopping or brunching. I think it will go with everything. Total splurge BTW. I don't look at black since i have a black tux and a black moto at home. But the girl took one look at my all black outfit yesterday and snuck it into the dressing room. Yup, score for her!
6. WHBM white seemed turtleneck. I have been wanting white turtle forever but the plain ones just make me feel frumpy. The sporty seeming on this one makes it edgy (to me) so another splurge.
7. WHBM red ruffle jacket - spent some time trying to find inspiration pics to wear it. If I search for red blazers lots of interesting options come up. If I search red leather (since it seems more like a moto than a blazer) I get black and white. No imagination! Funny how the material makes a difference in how it is styled.

Thanks for sharing the fun! See how I am sticking to my color scheme. whites, cardinal, raspberry, and black.

I am very happy with the whole lot, plus that I didn't settle for anything not ppp. Also, I only bought these relatively few items. Last trip I bought a bit more (too embarassing to reveal numbers)

Bye for now. Have a great day.
