One of my style/life goals is to avoid disposable stuff, which in the fashion world means a small wardrobe of workhorses that intend to I use for a few years. It also includes getting things secondhand. So I have been trying to think about ways that I can stretch or rework items through alterations. So many others on here, like you, are good at that. Me, I have to work on flexing that muscle more. And I'm not talking about the alterations themselves. But please - the skills involved are really not much.
