I'm working on a similar winter list. It's hard replacing a lot of footwear and outerwear all at once!</p> <p>FWIW, I added Blundstones this fall, after thinking about them for many years. They are pretty comfortable -- high enough volume to add a wool or shearling insole for a little extra warmth in winter, which I like. They're very common where I live. Probably 20-30% of the people I see on any given day are wearing them (more so women than men, but they are popular among both genders).
