Maybe also River Island and Jigsaw, for workwear. </p> <p>I've always had good luck with the department stores, which I think might give you the fun but grown-up thing you're looking for: Debenham's, Selfridges, Peter Jones, Harrods (a little pricey in some departments but you can find sales).
