I also bought myself burgundy/red cat eyes 2 yrs ago, and after a few days in despair of not getting used to them onmy low contrast face I put on some darker lids and lips, and they were slowly falling in theirs' place. The optometrist brought in 3 frames for me. The ones that looked green in the product shot looked BLACK IRL and not good on my face (no pic). I took photos in the store (darker) and in front of the big windows (lighter) to try and show ‘real’ colour for two other fram shapes (one in different colours).</p> <p>#1/2 same pair indifferent light situations<br /> #3,4,5 - same frame but two colour ways (purple and amber)</p> <p>I’ve set one pair aside, however the very patient and understanding SA is expecting a big delivery from a new supplier ‘any day’ and is going to give me a call when it arrives.</p> <p>Edited to add a photo of my current/two year old glasses #6 for comparison. </p>
