I'm like rivoli where I go for days without perusing the individual sites. Shopittome has brought quite a few items to my attention at such times. I also like SavvyCircle for pinpointing actual items that I'm interested in tracking. I guess shopittome works best for days when you're super busy and SavvyCircle for when you have the time. Also, I have found there are certain sites that SavvyCircle does not support, yet.

I just signed up for Savvy Circle too!

I think Shopittome is good for people (like me) who aren't so much into browsing the individual sites. That's what I like about it-- I *only* look at the e-mail and see what's there, rather than shopping at the store sites to see what they have.

But sometimes there is a particular item I'm looking for, and it looks like Savvy Circle is a great way to track things if you're waiting for them to go on sale.

I second savvycircle.com. Patience turned us onto it, and it's great. They only send me a notification when something I have chosen goes on sale. If you like a certain item and it's available from multiple retailers, you can go to each of the retail sites and add it to your list. That way, whenever it goes on sale first, you maximize your chances of getting it.

I've signed up for it, but honestly I don't read the emails anymore. I much prefer savvycircle.com. Let me know if you need an invite and I'll send it. It allows you to track specific items, not just general items for certain labels. I don't like ALL of BCBG dresses and I don't like ALL of JCrew's skirts, etc. But you get them all with Shop It To Me.

i have also signed up for it, but i found it to be a bit of a nuisance. i typically don't look at the emails anymore; in fact, i think i've since unsubscribed.

i think part of the problem was that i only selected a few stores and types of items. since i frequent their websites enough as it is, i had pretty much seen all the items that were being emailed to me.

id say give it a go - if you don't like it, you can always unsubscribe.

I signed up for it and have been receiving notifications for a few months. I like it a lot; I bought a couple of coats at really good prices, which I wouldn't have found elsewhere.

You decide which stores and which designers you like, and they send you daily e-mails to let you know what's on sale. There are a lot of designer brands as well as mainstream brands like Banana Republic. You can change your preferences any time. You can also stop the e-mails if you're going to be away from the computer, or if you just need a break from all the sale notifications.

I'm not easily tempted by sales, but I do want the best price when I'm shopping for something. So I can easily scan the daily e-mails and ignore anything that doesn't fit into my shopping plan. Right now I have it set to only notify me of accessories and shoes, because I'm shopping for a summer bag and shoes.

Edited to add: You also set your sizes, so that you don't waste your time looking at sales for things only to discover they don't have your size.

I saw it advertised in a magazine awhile back & wondering if anyone has tried it and what your thoughts are? You sign up to receive notification from your favorite stores for when things go on sale that you like. Sounds too good to be true. Anyone tried it?
