I’ve been getting tofu and pickled burdock tacos from the little hipster eatery next to the bakery. Lol! You don’t get more appallingly hipster than that, but darn if tofu and pickled burdock with avocado cashew cream isn’t shockingly tasty. </p> <p>Also: in training for the future of the apocalypse, the place sells cricket and mealworm snacks that are good too. I was happy. I’ve had a cricket bar before... I do not recommend. Tastes exactly like how you’d think dried, crushed cricket would taste: like sand.</p> <p>Hehe ;)</p> <p>ETA: Oh wait. It was open, so I decided to go in and check it out. </p> <p>It was a delightful place, the clothes were nice, the quality was good, the prices were reasonable. I bought a black top I don't need but can use for a base layer at work (I hate the way our crappy polyester shirts feel on my skin). They had the most wonderful necklaces, and it was hard to choose just one to take home with me. I went with the first one that caught my eye.</p> <p>I hope this boutique survives this crisis, because I want more of those awesome necklaces!</p> <p>The pics of the shop are not mine, they are screen capped from google reviews/photos. The pics of the necklace are mine.</p> <p>I probably shouldn't have spent the money, but it was important to me to support a small local business during these strange days. Have any of you guys got any small, local little treasure shops like this one near you? </p>
