Don't get rid of any of your comfy shoes until you can replace them. It’s the golden shoe rule. Shoes are SO HARD to find.

Keep the wedges for boot cuts and the ballet flats are sweet. The other shoes aren’t your best because they just aren’t your style. I say pass those on.

I am thinking of keeping only the wedges for bootcuts, the heel is surprisingly comfortable. They seem to have the most potential, next the ballet flats but the bows are not really me. I am shoe challenged and do not have a budget to get new shoes yet. Angie, any thoughts?

Although the brown slides may be dated, they seem to fit your style and you can wear them and look fab. They look like they are very comfortable to wear standing and walking all day. I'm probably saying this because I have a similar pair in black and have kept them to wear with pants. I no longer wear them with skirts, but your legs are so long that you could even do that.

The flats look fine and for your low contrast outfits I especially like the texture suede gives.

The booties look like the hardest to use in an outfit. As Maya says, maybe with long wider bottomed pants. But I can imagine you putting them with an outfit and looking totally polished. If they are very comfortable, maybe you can experiment more with them.

GG:

Honestly, I think that the profile is too high on all 3 pairs. The brown slides are too clunky looking. The cream ballet flats have too high of a profile, and they are suede (which I consider more of a fall/winter material). The bootie things have too high of a profile and do nothing for you. They all look dated to me, and they don't really punctuate your style, IMO. I think that you deserve a shoe update, and it will really give your well-planned outfits the icing that they deserve. Even if you are a comfort shoe seeker with fussy feet like some of the other ladies here, you can find current styles to meet your comfort needs and show your personal style. One example that comes to mind is the Brulee gladiators that have everyone abuzz - current style (glads) with comfort to boot.

I think that one of the easiest ways to sink an outfit is with the wrong shoe.

I like the ballet flats and the bootie things though I agree with Maya that the booties are probably best worn with a wider pant width at the bottom. I like them because they have just the right bit of edge/funk to them.

I like the ballet flats, but the other two I"m not crazy about. I think it's the jeans though. With a wider leg opening, the other two might work. You seem to have a preference for skinnies though (which is understandable, since you look amazing in them). I think in general, the skinnier the leg opening, the lower I prefer the vamp OR, alternately, the higher the heel (but the latter is obviously not comfortable).

I think I have the same flats in baby blue. They are my "blue suede shoes" and I love them so obviously I like yours too.

I only like the ballet flats. The other two look dated to me. And the bootie things look both dated and much to staid to work with your style. So I vote to get rid of those.

With the ballet flats, I really like the style but I'm not sure about them being suede. I think I take the old fashion rules a little too seriously but I always find myself thinking if I should wear suede when it would be appropriate to wear flats, i.e. in the spring and summer. I have a pair of suede peep toe pumps and I never know when to wear them. They are too cold for the winter and then I feel awkward wearing them in the spring because suede seems like much more of a winter fabric. So long story short, if you are going to run into a similar conundrum, I think it's probably not worth keeping them.

Like San, I like the wedges a lot. The white flats have the potential to work with a lot of outfits. The cloth booties I don't like on their own but I think they would be really cool if they are dyed and decorated.

I am apprehensive of being the first to respond here because I am usually against the tide when it come to advice on style. Oh well here goes. I like your brown wedges on you alot. Are these the ones you called clunkers in another thread? I think they look good on your foot and ultra comfy. The white shoes are OK to me. I guess I am kind of neutral on them and it would depend on the outfit. With the jeans you are wearing and just seeing your foot, I much prefer the brown wedges. That is not much help is it?

Hi everyone,
I am doing the dreaded change season deal and am going through shoes. Let me know what you think. Should I keep or get rid of?
First :brown wedges
off white suede ballet flats
http://i41.photobucket.com/alb.....etflat.jpg
third: cloth off white bootie things
http://i41.photobucket.com/alb.....thshoe.jpg
THANKS!!!
