I'm with Taylor, for skinnies I prefer a pump or peep toe with a thin higher heel to alongate.. because I'm petite too.

I love heels with skinny jeans as well as simple sandals and ballet flats. I"m not sure I'd put those you linked to with skinnies. Something about them just doesn't seem to "go" style wise.

Some high heels look great with skinny jeans! I bought a pair of platform high heels from a boutique womens shoe store in Melbourne, Australia called Piotrantoni. They also sell shoes online. The shoes i purchased are black suede classic, simple high heel platform heels and they look stunning and classy with a pair of skinny black jeans.

heres the link:

I'm with Taylor--I think skinny jeans look good with a graceful heel or wedge. Personally, I don't like anything that has too much ornamentation with a jean look (the first sandals you linked to border on being a bit much for me). What about something funky like this ankle boot?

http://www.pedshoes.com/trippe.....lorID=1329

They're ventilated, so they'd be fine in warmer temps, I think. Trippen shoes may be a bit a bit too out there in style for lots of people, but, man oh man, are they ever comfortable! I have one pair of Trippen wedges, and I plan to get more (just need to plump up the wallet first).

I like a pump style shoe, or peep toe with a narrow or wedgie heel... rather than chunky heel....:)

I like the kind of shoes Angie is wearing in the picture. The red shoes have a chunky heel and look like they would be easy to walk in.
I also like the wedge shoes that you are thinking of getting. Personally, for me most flats are just too flat. I prefer a more stable sole.

I like most sandals, but especially wedge heels like the KC Cedars with skinny jeans. With flats, something with a low vamp and cute detail or color seems to work. I especially like metallics and animal prints.

I have also been wearing them with ballet flats and quite like the look (I'm 5' and an inverted triangle). I've also worn them in the fall with wedged mary janes similar to the ones that Shiny posted. All sorts of sandals would work for the late spring/summer too!

Shiny - yes! That's pretty much exactly what I want for spring, instead of totally flat ballet flats. So you think those would work?

How about a ballet flat with a wedge, like this:

http://www.zappos.com/me-too-s.....e-metallic

Otherwise, I dunno... I usually just wear ballet flats with my skinnies. There is something that looks right to me with that look. I also have it in my head (somehow) that skinnies with flats is more elongating than any other style jean with flats. I don't know why that would be, it just seems that way to me.

I have a pair of skinny jeans coming from Banana Republic. I tried them on in the store tucked into tall black boots with a chunky 2.5-inch heel and liked them, but I was wondering about when boot season is over. What else can I wear with skinny jeans?

I try to stay away from flat-flats because I'm so short; I prefer a low wedge heel for casual wear. For example, I have shoes that look a lot like these, except without the beige piping:
http://www.zappos.com/bouquets-melody-brown-beige

I was also planning to get a pair of low black wedges for spring - about the same height as the ones above. Would either of those work? What about sandals with a bit of a heel? Or flat sandals?
