You have many great suggestions already, but you might keep in mind that you will be likely to be walking on wet pavement often with puddles. I like a nice thick sole that will keep my feet above as much water as possible.

I would take my Fluevogs, which have been tried and true for walking city miles and go with everything. But I agree Clarks are comfy and a lot less expensive.

Ecco shoes are also great, particularly if you have a narrow heel.

And wow, what fun!

Yup, Clarks are absolutely what I would take. I also like Born flats. My suggestion is that whatever you are considering, that you walk around allot before you leave. ( Whenever I would get new hiking boots, I would wear them around before hitting the trail. )

I like Clarks too, especially their Indigo by Clarks line. It has some really cute shoes. I have their Alanza heels in black and wore them all day walking yesterday. Those probably aren't perfect for you, since they have a heel, but they are a good example of how cute the line is. I also really like Pikolinos. Naturalizers don't work for me because they are too narrow, but I just saw a very cute Mary Jane flat on Zappos by them called "Indulge." Dansko also has some cute ones. The main thing I'd suggest is to be sure that they have decent support and foot cushioning. You'll be walking on cobblestones and other rough surfaces, and you'll appreciate it.

I stay in Europe too and I know it can be tough to walk long hours in heeled or unsupportive flat shoes!

My suggestion would be a really comfy pair of flat oxfords. I once wore my Clarks oxfords for over 24 hours (got stuck at the airport and had to walk a lot)! I cannot praise these enough since they have a really cushy and comfy insoles. Here is a link - http://www.clarks.fr/p/20347257

I'd suggest to try Clarks or Bass.

I'm traveling to London this summer to meet my boyfriend's parents (!) and, you know, see the UK. We're planning on going doing the Olympics, so even more excitement! Also planning trips to visit his extended family in Essex and Aberdeen, with a side trip to Bath. Planning for lots of shopping.
Anyway, I would like some options for shoes. Currently I own pumps and such for work, and a my beloved PF Flyers. I'd like to get a pair of cute shoes good for walking about the city streets. Something sort of mary jane or ballet flattish, but with plenty of cush and support for fussy feet. Nothing orthopedic looking, of course.
Thanks!
