We all have different ideas about what is "budget." I would consider these mid-range brands, but both offer reasonable quality (although my experience is not terribly recent) and good comfort, and can be stylish if you look through the options. Actually I think Naturalizer has made a shift towards emphasizing trendiness more and comfort less in recent years.</p> <p>I would also put Nine West and Sam Edelman in a similar category.</p> <p>Steve Madden trendier, but a step down in quality/comfort. Cole Haan stylish but more in a classic sense, a step up in price and possibly quality.</p> <p>I can't speak to 3-4" heels as I am a flat-2" at the very most sort of shoe wearer.</p> <p>I will be curious what others say.
