I find my feet swell by the end of the day, so the sandals I try on in cooler weather usually are too tight/small fit wise when actually used during our hot summers. I don't think it's something most people notice though. Some people just have shorter or straighter toes than others. Better than the alternative, I guess (toe overhang, yuck!).</p> <p>To me both pairs look fine. The smaller pair are only marginally better. In photo three you can see my rather red and swollen foot due to an unfortunate encounter with a fire ant yesterday. I found out I'm highly allergic. Within ten minutes I was suffering an allergic reaction that included heart burn, sneezing, swollen red eyes, among other not so pleasant things. I'm better today after a visit to the doctor and other than puffy eyes and an itching/burning foot I'm back to normal. </p>
