Love the studded mules, and they come in white too! But missing studs would be a deal breaker for sure. I can see how those laces might be uncomfortable, would you be able to swap them out with softer ones? Unfortunately neither one worked out.</p> <p>The studded slides were promising -- the fit was quite good on my slightly narrow/low-volume feet, but there was a bit of extra room at the very top of the instep. Not bad, but the leather is soft and I believe these have the potential to stretch. However, they arrived with a flaw -- one of the studs had already come off the shoe, which doesn't bode well for these to stand up to wear very well. Back they are going.</p> <p>I love the look of the Shellys London chunky sandals, but there are a couple of issues. First of all, they lace up quite high and the laces are sort of stiff and sticky, so they take a bit of effort to get on and off. But once I had them on, I realized they would never be comfortable on me -- the exposed laces rub on the tops of my feet. </p> <p>So, 0-for-2 on the shoe front. </p> <p>I am, however, keeping this Zadig + Voltaire tee. Nice color, fun but subtle motif, flattering neck, and an easy fit. </p>
