But, I found this particular ankle height to be not very comfortable, hitting right at the point where my ankle flexes when I walk. I'd need a higher shaft, or ever-so-slightly lower shaft, for these to be comfortable. The leather was nice, and the blue color is super pretty.</p> <p>The Nisolos, on the other hand, are exquisitely comfortable. High-quality, supple leather, true-to-size (I ordered a 9), and feel just right on my wide-ish forefeet. I like the simple, clean styling. I've tried three other pairs of black oxfords this year (from Frye, Børn, and Clarks), but these are definitely the winners!</p> <p>Also: ShopSpring is a great way to try both of these brands, as they offer free shipping and returns -- which neither Everlane nor Nisolo does via their own websites.&nbsp; </p>
