I have a pair of these in red and I just bought the same version in black, I love them that much. There is a peep toe and my feet don't sweat in them. This is another "comfort" brand that doesn't look too frumpy, IMHO. I had to break in the heel a bit, but now they are like butter. I've been MIA and now come back for advice. Mea culpa! I promise to hang around more often. </p> <p>However, I am currently shopping for a family trip to NYC and Washington DC. We will spend a week split between the two and will be doing a lot of walking. </p> <p>It will be hot both places ( first week of July), so I will be mostly wearing walking shorts and tees or tanks. My concern is footwear. Comfort is my priority - I don't mind sacrificing a little style for comfort, but style would be nice, too. </p> <p>I already have a pair or leather Tevas from a few years ago that I know are super comfortable. They are about a 5 on the cute scale, though. I know from experience that my feet tend to get super hot in sneakers, but I want to take some anyway. So if anyone has recs for really comfy sandals and fashion sneakers that would look good with shorts, let me hear them! </p>
