If you're looking for booties to wear with bare legs, either go with something close to your skintone, or wear similar colored tights with it. More of the boot showed than would show with bootcuts (obviously) but the very top (ankle part) was obscured. My calves are only 17" to the knee and I'm 5'7"!</p> <p>I think you can make these leg-lengthening by wearing dark tights when you wear dresses or skirts. I have a similar pair, and I find them hard to wear with skinnies. The cuffs fight each other and they don't fall in a nice line like bootcuts do. When I've tried to tuck in my jeans, they blouse weirdly or come untucked. That's ok, but it takes a little getting used to. I'm just not sure if I like messing with that combo.
