Thank you all, ladies. It seems these shoes might a bit too much of headache for a pair with very limited use - summer months only. Now I think it might worth the trouble of searching for a shoe polish if I buy light color pumps or flats. I could use them in the winter months in the office and very occasionally on the streets in the summer time.

I'd think they would be easy to match, but there are also these little shoe shiners you could try.

I have the same issue with my pointy toes shoes. I also walk a lot on pavements and don’t switch to commuter shoes. I use my dd sharpies and acrylics to cover damage. Was also thinking if applying some clear nail polish before damages can protect them but haven’t tried that yet.

Irina I think you will wreck the points of your shoes if you walk that distance in them. I have some similar shoes and have to be careful when walking on pavements because they have been scratched - shoe polish helps a bit, but really I just baby these shoes. The plus is that this is an amazing colour, it makes your legs look long and just co-ordinates with everything.

If you go with commuter shoes, why not go with a trendy fashion sneaker that looks intentional with your work clothes but is comfortable enough for your walk?

Thanks!
Kkards and Eva, I thought about changing shoes, too. Probably, as a last resort. Last summer I had shoes that there not comfortable enough to walk for 35 minutes and I carried them in my bag, walking in my old loafers. But I walk through the centre of the city, among a lot of people. My outfit of the day might not looks the best with other shoes. So, what’s the point of having shoes if their use is limited?
I wear some of my dressier shoes in the office as I change out of boots in winter, but no slingbacks of course. Again, limited use. I consider returning them.

cute shoes...i would think you could find shoe polish in this color...but i was also going to suggest what Eva said, wear a pair of commuter shoes and change at work...

Maybe you could wear a pair of shoes that can get scratched during your commute, and then switch out your shoes at work? Or if that is too much stuff to carry with you, maybe you could even leave this pair at your workplace during summer?
Anyway, I hope you find a solution, the shoes are great!

Those are lovely. Look for a Moneysworth and Best. They have a very good selection of shoe polishes.

https://moneysworth-best.com/

My father always lathered on the shoe polish before ever wearing new shoes, letting it soak in over night before shining them up, especially paying attention to toes and seams. You might try that with clear paste polish and a clean rag or brush.

I bought a pair of Via Spiga tan slingbacks. Love them, they are very comfortable. But I’m extremely hard on my shoes - I walk at least 4 kilometers a day, to and from work. I get pointy toes scratched almost right away. It is easy with black shoes, I remedy it with shoe polish. Will it be hard to match shoe polish to these shoes? Because of this concern, I generally avoid light color shoes. But want these for the summer, they work so well with almost all my summer pants. Any advice? Thanks!
