I haven't tried on this year's Robyn, but I tried on last year's, and I took my usual Munro size, 7W. My feet are a little wide; when I had them measured many moons ago, they were 7C. And I have a high instep (high volume foot). Often, though, I can wear medium width shoes, especially in European brands.

I find the Robyns to fit on the small side. I am usually a 6.5 or a 7 (mostly 6.5) but I got these in a 7. I have high arches, which I think is part of the reason I needed my larger size. I also think they are slightly on the narrow side (but not truly narrow). I got regular width and it is fine, but snug.

I find them super comfortable -- but keep in mind my criteria are a bit different from yours. For me, comfort has to do with last shape, being secure in the shoe, lightweight, and usually, flexible soles -- ideally with a 2 inch heel (which works with the angle of my arch best.) The Robyns do have a firm forefoot bed but they also have some flexibility.

I don't know anything about either of these shoes. But I will say that it may not be good to wear the same shoe two days in a row; I wonder if that may irritate your feet? If you find that you are reaching for your black booties every day, you might want to get another pair, even if they are similar, so that you can keep your feet from getting used to one shoe and thus becoming fussier. However, I don't have a lot of experience with serious foot issues, so if this doesn't sound right to you, just disregard it!

If you really wear black ankle boots a lot, I think the shape is different enough that it's not a complete duplication. These seem a little more dressy and elegant, while the other pair is maybe a little funkier.

And being able to rotate the two pairs would mean they're both likely to wear out slower.

I kind of wish I'd bought the cranberry version too. Could see myself getting lots of use out of them.

The Camper Agatha looks really cute! If you want to make them fun, different styles of tights would look awesome with them. Of course, they work well with dress pants too.

I am the exact same as you ...... I also like adding a gel insert or a pair of thick socks or padded tights to make any shoe extra comfortable.

I know some Fabbers have commented how comfortable their Munro booties are so that's positive. I think they're extremely similar to your Campers though.

Last year's cranberry suede Robyn fit me slightly larger than this year's black leather. I would say they fit TTS. My feet have a combo of low volume and high volume characteristics: Low arches, but wide forefoot with bunions. The Robyn was too high volume for me so it just looked weird so I returned them last year and this year. Last year's 6.5W fit but was too short for me this year. The sole is somewhat rigid but not as rigid as my old Dansko booties. The gal on the Zappos video was really able to bend the sole.

The Munro Taylor shootie in 6.5W and & 7W should be delivered to me tomorrow. For whatever reason, the leopard print in that shoe is stiffer than the solid colors, so I decided to try it out despite its 2" heel.

FWIW, I try to check the Zappos videos (if available) because they almost always bend the sole of shoes to show their flexibility. If they don't bend the sole, it is usually because the sole is quite rigid -- so not a selling point for folks other than us!

Steel shank in shoes are really good for my feet! Glad to know the Munros have that feature! I also really want the Abby's but I will hold off because I'm purchasing only for fall/winter now. Hopefully they will be around next year. In the meantime, I will look into the cranberry Robyn's!

Btw, Firecracker: how do the Munros fit, knowing that they have multiple widths? True to size? How does one determine which width to get? I wish there were Munro retailers here so I can just swing by and try one on!

I do think the Robyns look similar to your Campers, and I would not be inclined to duplicate them in black. But I would try the Robyns in cranberry if I were you. I find Munros among my most comfortable shoes. They are sturdy, too, with a steel shank. You could wait and see if they go on sale later this fall.

So I'm in a bit of a dilemma with shoes; booties, in particular. Recently, I've been wearing my Campers Booties a lot because I can slip my insole in there and my feet are perfectly happy all day in the office, as long as I don't do heavy amounts (2+ hours straight) of walking afterwards (not usually the case on a regular 9-5 day). And then... I see the Munro Robyn on Jackie and the v-shape in front of the boot makes me want this boot badly! I find that shape very flattering on the foot and would be great on cropped relaxed skinny styles! The only issue: they look very similar to my Campers (without the v-shape in front).

Here's what my Campers look like:
http://www.camper.com/en_CA/wo.....-46666-001

I'm very uncertain about the fit of Munro's though, so I'm not sure if it's worth the risk. Also, would the Munros be comfortable enough? Would the sole be rigid enough (like my Campers)? Does it have enough of a forefoot "platform"?

If the cranberry coloured Robyn's were in the NAS sale, I'd get it in a heartbeat! But I wonder if it's still worth getting the black ones even though I already have a black bootie that works (yet doesn't have that one detail I really like)?

I'm also on a lookout for boots/booties/shoes with a similar style (and height) of heel. Any suggestions where I can look?
