The same thing happened with my black NAS boots shown in my first picture--I can't remember if they are Ecco or something else but they have buckles and a suede back and they get slouchy as the day progresses. I think of your style as much sleeker and more polished than mine so I'm not sure if you will be okay with the slouch. 14" is about the maximum height for me. I'm considering ordering a bootie for some variety and I'd love your opinion. Right now, the shoes that work are all tall boots (shown in pic. 1.) You would think my Doc oxfords would work but the sole is too thick/heavy and there is not enough of a heel (differential from sole to heel.) The Nine West (pic 2)&nbsp;and the Petty (pic 3)&nbsp;meet my heel criteria. Not sure if they will be comfortable but I'm willing to give them a try. These will be worn exclusively with slim pants/BF jeans and take the place of my cognac Report Marks. Do you have a preference in terms of versatility? I don't really want black so I thought I'd try the Petty in Emerald.
