I'll try to capture them in Finds.  Also, think about whether you want to "bookend" with your hair. If so, a cognac or other brown might be your best bet.  But to wear with the white, for leg lengthening, a lighter taupe or grey would work better.  I love booties. I wear them constantly. For me, they are the easiest shoe to fit because I have narrow heels that always pop out of shoes, and shorter, narrower calves that rarely fit into tall boots. It's true some will give you a "flower pot" look, but there are many out there that will not. Alternatively a loafer....or even a Brogue /Oxford type shoe. I prefer an ankle boot though as it takes away the socks issue I have with loafers! I'd go with a bootie, either flat, moto style, or a heeled western style thing.  Something in black, grey, or brown, depending on your preference, that can be easily slipped on and off - something that zips up, preferably.  A bootie will only come up to the ankle, so it's a bit less fussy to wear then tall boots, IMO. Tania on "shoe advice" https://youlookfab.com/welookfab/topic/shoe-advice-4#post-1397966 Mon, 17 Nov 2014 02:06:01 +0000 Tania 1397966@https://youlookfab.com/welookfab/ For many years, my entire shoe collection has been utility based.  I started my "new" wardrobe from scratch recently and am trying to fill gaps as they come.  Right now, I have cherry red Doc Martens and knee high dark brown Aquatalia riding boots (low heeled) for daily use.   I also have a pair of shiny red stiletto heels (yes, apparently red is where I roll nowadays, lol).    My daily life is pretty casual, but I have occasional get togethers where I'd like to take it up a notch (but not as much as with my heels).  Suggestions for a style that would be appropriate, maybe a little more refined than my casual shoes?  Right now, I'm thinking about a pair of straight leg white jeans that I'd likely wear.
