The rash and lesions have healed and there are no scars. I haven't had a headache in a week. I experienced some numbness and itchiness, but that is almost gone as well - only a little itchiness on the right side of my scalp when I get tired. Cold compresses worked and a couple of times I took a couple of Tylenol, but I didn't need anything stronger. I suspect I have dodged a bullet and will not have any permanent nerve pain.</p> <p>A great big THANK YOU to all the folks who posted suggestions, sent good wishes, and held me in their thoughts and prayers. </p>
