I have a feeling the skirt will not look very much like the inspiration. i only have one layer of tulle done and i'm already sick of sewing it! i'm thinking i'll do less of the layered look of the inspiration photo and go more for a skirt like this - <a href="http://dress.1st-found.com/images/promdress/prom13476.jpg" rel="nofollow">http://dress.1st-found.com/ima.....m13476.jpg</a></p> <p>my original idea was to have a skirt that goes around the tulle for the ceremony. it would be made of the same material as the top part of the dress, so it would look like one piece. then, for the reception, id remove the outer skirt and be left with a tulle skirt. i want to go a little 80's for the reception, so i was going to layer a bunch of pearl necklaces.</p> <p>we'll see how the tulle skirt looks when i'm all done. if it looks silly, i'll just wear the outer skirt the whole day. </p> <p>ok, sorry for the long post, but i just wanted to give you some insight on the planning process! </p>
