I'm looking more for a shoes that I can walk around in when there's snow on the ground. I bet it is pretty darn cold working outside in Wisconsin in the winter. When I worked out in the construction field here in Washington, we had a dress code for the types of clothing to be worn on the site. Safety boots that were at least above the ankle, hard hats, and such. We wore gortex lined boots and anything else gortex lined to keep as warm and dry as possible. Danner is a good brand for work boots. The matter was safety and comfort. I am not sure how you work style into this. Maybe you are going to be working mainly in the office? What I've seen of construction offices is that they are very dirty so keep that in mind.<br /> Good luck in you search and let us know what you come up with.
