Upper hanging is MOTG, lower is for the office, shelves hold layering t's, sports wear etc, top drawer holds jewellery - I put each piece in a ziplock back and they are sort of "filed" by colour, rest of drawers have undies, pjs, socks etc, bottom drawer is shoes. I have another half a space like this with hubby and I hang long trousers (I rarely have dresses), and a shelf with handbags. I was NEVER organized when I had a small closet. Even with a dresser and armoire, many of my clothes ended up on the closet floor. Thankfully we have a bigger closet now. Here are my pics. It is a work in progress, but I can see the finish line. My resolution was to finally finish this little project. I've been purging and organizing for the past four months. I tackled shoes in December and I've organized many of my dresser and armoire drawers. Now I'm working on getting my accessories organized.</p> <p>ETA: A big THANK YOU for showing how you have your necklaces organized! I would love to peek into your closet too, if anyone is game! :)</p> <p>Pic 1 shows my side of the closet.</p> <p>Pic 2 is a closeup of the top shelf - that has my tops in two piles, my bottoms (jeans and skirts) in one pile and the pile on the left is my nightwear.</p> <p>Pic 3 is a closeup of the stuff I have on hangers - vests, pants, my trench coat and three of my most special scarves. The boxes at the bottom have my tights and socks (small box) and my 4 sweaters and my poncho (big box).</p> <p>Pic 4 shows the clothing rack I bought since my closet is too small! This has my jackets, belts, scarves, dresses, Indian kurtas and my jewellery. I share this with hubby, so Pic 5 shows a closeup of my side and Pic 6 shows a closeup of my necklaces!</p> <p>I don't have a lot of clothes, but I think they are decently organised now, making room for the stuff I need </p>
