I spent earlier years of my life in a state that probably came closer to "localized, organized clutter," which in retrospect, is exactly how my mom was. There were rooms that were beautifully kept, with no piles or extraneous things in sight, but then there were spaces that were more like neat dumping grounds. My closet was like that for some time when I was younger, and I now keep on top of it much better! </p> <p>I just posted in Ingunn's purgatory thread that I'm thinking another little round of purging is in the cards for me, as we're in midsummer and I have a very good idea of what will not get worn for the remainder of the season, plus I have some new NAS F/W items that will take the place of some old things I don't need anymore. Along with a bunch of socks. </p> <p>And I started my 'boutique'- a holding zone for those things that are ok but I don't love or am not wearing. I've never regretted any of my purges but for some reason it was easier to try this method during this round. For now it has 12 items in it and they are in a closet in a guest bedroom. </p> <p>Piled on the bed in that room are items that I've already purged a couple of weeks ago including a bunch of clothes, about 8 pairs of shoes and several bags. Some of the things haven't been worn I think I will post some here and send some to Twice. </p>
