I was thinking along the lines that Maneera suggested and tapering at the waist or Beth Ann suggested tapering at ankles but i have another pair of jeans already tapered that I'm going to cuff. I'm wondering how these would go as cropped flares. Do they flare enough? Do I need to cut more off? I'm thinking I'll leave the hem raw. Here is the hacked version with two versions. Hack away. </p> <p>I actually own 2 pairs of jeans that are big for me. I love them in winters when I want to tuck my sweater plus tee inside the jeans for an air-tight effect from cold winds! You could certainly hack these and use them similarly with leg warmers and tall boots in winters. See if you like wearing them at this length (ie if they feel good at the waist). If you end up liking them, you can then take to a tailor to turn to crops.
