Your climate sounds similar to mine. We are now in the last 2 weeks of Autumn and still have daytime temps in the 22-27 range (mid 70s +). Breaking up the season in my wardrobe really helped, about mid July I was done with color and reverted to neutrals until mid September when it was time to bring out Hot Fall things, hot weather items in autumn or earthy colors. Try adding brackets to your accessory collections for hot weather, also bandanas that can be twisted and worn as a necklace, soaked in cold water and worn damp. The evaporation is cooling when it is hot.<br /> Thank you for sharing your system. And humid.<br /> You’re definitely right that lighter colors are cooler in the sun, I was just drawn to adding black. There’s so many things I’d be shut out of if I went by weather alone &amp; I like black. I do have other patterns/lighter colors from seasons past. Next 12 days are two in the 80s &amp; ten in the 90s. I don’t enjoy it or shopping for it.</p> <p>That led me to try and find a good coverage but cool tshirt &amp; a pair of breezy crops (both duplicated) to wear for probably 3-4 x per week. I don’t want to invest in a season that’s not fun to dress in &amp; where the clothes wear out.</p> <p>Because I know that is pretty boring &amp; because I have a passel of accessories that don’t get enough play, I’ve come up with 10 accessory variations to keep things different and interesting and keep myself happy, spending in check &amp; to enjoy what I have. </p> <p>Figured I’d share.</p> <p>The pants are olive &amp; the top a black rayon and spandex boat neck.</p> <p>I am putting them &amp; then grouping the accessories in 3s or 4s, how I’ll pair them with the top/pants.</p> <p>3-5 combo #1<br /> 6-8 Combo #2<br /> 7-10 combo #3<br /> 12-14 combo #4</p> <p>Any thoughts welcome! </p>
