My waves respond well to it, with fewer odd pieces flipping out. This is a razor cut. My current stylist (for the past maybe 10 years!) gets my hair. She uses a razor for the layered cuts and scissors where she wants a more precise line--at times she'll use both methods in the same haircut.&nbsp; And I like Jayne Matthews' work very much.&nbsp;</div><div>Thanks <b>Janet</b>, and thanks again for the encouragement. My hair was thick when I was younger and curlier than it is now, and these kinds of layered cuts worked really well to make my hair more manageable.
