Thanks, Fabbers! It is a tough choice although when I look at the pictures side by side, I prefer the color of the Seychelles. I could probably keep both but I'm not sure how much I need two pairs of light booties.

I currently have a black pair of Pikolinos (Brujas), a black chelsea, and forest green suede Pettys. My cognac Reports are great but they aren't all day shoes for me anymore and I need all day shoes these days. I'll report back when I've done a closet survey.

Really tough choice, as they are both gorgeous. Can you keep both? ;)
If you must decide, I have an ever so slight preferance for the Seychelles because of the super current shape.

Hm, tough choice. I was about to order the Circus ones about 3 weeks ago, but decided that I had enough booties to get me through the winter. I love their color and interesting detail of the black insert (and the price). The Seychelles look great too and both look good on you. It'll just come down to your color preference probably?

I thought I would like the taupe better but I don't. The tan look more sleek to me. Are you keeping both?

@Una: Maybe it is the suede making the size difference. I would say the leather is TTS.
@unfrumped: Thanks! I think I'll be wearing primarily with pants over boot. I showed them rolled so you could get a better idea of where they come up on my leg. I think the vamp is kind of high for rolled--at least for me and my short legs!

Man--I still love the taupey ones with the white jeans.
Then when you wear blue and orange, the tan look good.
For the taupe, how do they look on bare leg? Does that help differentiate them?
Or, how do you most plan to wear--with rolled up pants or pants over boot?

Love the Seychelles! Mine are suede - maybe suede runs bigger? If I don't wear a thick sock I feel floppy. But they are so comfortable and cute.

Well, I'm going to have a tough time choosing. The Seychelles are here and they are a beautiful shade of tan (cognac.) Pretty much exactly what I had in mind. I ordered my usual size keeping my fingers crossed that they wouldn't be too big. I know that Una and Jackie both thought they ran at least a 1/2 size large. This wasn't the case for me--perhaps my feet are higher volume than I thought! They leather is more supple than the Hamiltons and will probably take a few wears before they are broken in. They are wider in the forefoot than the suede Pettys that I bought last year(if there are any Petty wearers that are interested.) My only other concern is the way my ankles aren't centered in the opening. I think Una had the same issue but I'm not sure that's a deal breaker for me since they are skin tone anyway. They are very comfortable and feel like they will be all day shoes for me.

Feel free to comment on your preferences. Now that I have them both, I'm going to see which one will work better with my wardrobe. Thanks for looking!
