My favs are corduroy pants, faux suede pants (my mother used to make clothing for me out of that fabric when I was a teen in the '70s), a tooled leather handbag, and flared pants. I pair these items with things that are not from that decade because I don't want to look like a fashion victim. I have a purple pair I thrifted that I love to wear when I'm feeling retro. I also recently acquired one of those big, floppy hats. Anything suede would also be fabulous. My mom has a couple tan suede shirts, also thrifted. I was thinking that a striped turtleneck sweater would work well also. Any other ideas? </p>
