Angie, thank you <3 I hadn't realized my pants were so wrongly sized until you pointed it out here and in the other post. I will go through my big pants and maybe come back for guidance on which ones could be salvaged...

Thanks for everyone's very nice comments on the dresses. Oddly I had gone through a period of not wearing any--for months and months--and it feels great to return to them.

Re: weather. Today it's cooler but... rainy. It seems like it's the new Fall. I miss those sunny and crisp days...

My fave is #6. Love the shoes & stripes.

I feel everyone on the hot September. No rain in sight here but consistent humidity at 100%. 99% right now. Blargh.

You wear those dresses so well! I would wear swing dresses too if I had the right build for them. So cool and casual.

I'm ready for fall, too. More humidity today, and we're due to get the dregs of Florence. Come on, fall weather!

I’m late commenting, but had to say something, because you look fantastic in those first two dresses. I’m glad you’ve got your new shoes already & are breaking them in. Just don’t wear them out before the trip I also have to say on the “comfort” theme running throughout your posts, that I agree with you very much: if it isn’t comfortable, it isn’t worth wearing. This set of outfits shows how staying comfy, even in such steamy conditions, can look good.

Katerina, the first two dresses were gifts from my mom <3 whom I love dearly and who lives in another country. So it's extra special to me when I wear them, and also extra special when people like them

I credit Jenn for my stylish week. Tracking my outfits has made me think about them much more carefully. Surprisingly it also made my week easier, as I had a much clearer idea of what I wanted as opposed to figuring it out every day. More thought put into it = less time and energy with better results!

JAileen, yes, ON is surprisingly good with some items. And sometimes it's a particular print or fabric of an item that is otherwise just run-of-the-mill. Also surprising: most of their items are actually well made and last well through many wears and washes.

Thanks, everyone! I definitely enjoyed my week of mostly dresses. Might as well make the most of this unusually hot September while I can... Jenn, great idea about pairing the Haiku shoes with wideleg pants. They are just soooo comfortable and I want to find as many ways of wearing them as possible.

Excited to get started on week 3 of tracking!

I can see why you like the ON swing dresses. They seem like a great summer essential for you. I do understand what you mean about the new shoes feeling a bit heavy for the summer dress, but I love them! I think they'd be great with wideleg pants, for a sort of easy, natural look.

Loving the tracking challenge! It's made me think more consciously about my clothing choices not just day-by-day but also in the context of the whole week and of my wardrobe.

Monday: A warm but not sweltering day with meetings and some walking involved. Wrap-dress and pointy-toe lace-up shoes. Not sure if the lace-up style is still as trendy, but these shoes are soooo comfortable and I also love how they look.

Tuesday: Very hot and humid day with some walking involved, plus meetings. Cache-coeur dress and block-heel mules (comfy to walk in as long as I don't need to walk miles).

Wednesday: Very hot and humid day with no meetings so I could look more casual. Linen/cotton blend pants (which are too big for me--as we all agreed on a separate post), citron-yellow cotton shell (J.Crew Factory. They seem to be discontinuing them :( ). Sneakers because my bunion needed a break!

Thursday: Hot and humid day with meetings and walking. Very flowy, very lightweight navy palazzo pants and an old Ann Taylor key-hole top in brick red, plus low-heel wedge sandals. I adore these pants. They are from 2007. They have a drawstring that I don't super-love but other than that they are perfect. I have them in brown and black too, but the black has faded.

Friday: Very hot, humid, casual day. Old Navy swing dress (their swing dresses are my "guilty pleasure"). It's in a nice heather knit they call "plush" or something. I think if I found the right statement necklace and shoes, I could dress this up in a cool "Eileen-Fisherish" kind of way. But this was a day for comfort so I paired them with Skechers in a similar tone. Not sure if it's too goofy, but my body was happy.

Saturday: Very hot and humid. Where is Fall?!?! Another Old Navy swing dress, in silky jersey. Paired with my new SpringStep Haiku flats (see Find below). I'm still figuring out how to style these flats. Very comfy, pretty, and unique on the feet, but somewhat hard to match with skirts and dresses because they are so dark and cover so much of the feet so it's easy to look stumpy. Will post in the future about this in more detail asking for advice...
