Marianne - I'll let you know as soon as they arrive - got the notice they've been shipped!

I'd say they fit similar to the Citizens Amber's, but with a straight leg instead of a bootcut. And they do feel a "smidge" looser/higher in the waist. That part might be the fluke ....

I have read that with mass-manufacturing, there's always slight differences ... due to the way the material is cut (they pile the fabric up and make one cut, so the top piece matches the pattern but the bottom piece is a smidgen larger... ) so it pays to try on all the jeans in the same size and brand that the store carries. This is what bugs me about ordering online - you can't try on! But I'm crossing my fingers....

Patience, the coach bag ... don't remember the style! I bought it last winter. It's medium size. I can take a close-up shot if you want to see if you can score one on ebay. Let me know!

Thanks Shiny! That's what I meant - if the fit is the same as other Citizens. I've tried their Ava style and I thought it was better for a curvier person, but I figured you must have got a different style. When you get the second pair, could you let me know if the rise is the same? I might try ordering from Revolve because I haven't seen that style around.

Marianne, they are the Citizens Elson high rise in Big Sur. I am not sure what "true to size" really means when it comes to jeans, but if you are familiar with Citizens, then yes, they run true to size for that brand. I take a 25 in them.

I just ordered a second pair in Dark Paris (from revolve clothing) because I've been wearing them constantly -too constantly to even find time to wash them. And they are soooo comfy. The revolve site worried me because the rise listing for the Big Sur was 8" and for the Dark Paris it was listed as 7.5. I don't know why they'd be different rises in different colors!

The pair I have measures 8" which is actually lower than I like... but somehow these work and are comfy around the waist. I hope I didn't get a "fluke" pair though and the duplicates I just ordered fit just as well!

Susan - the shoes are me-too's that I bought at DSW last year. I love them, but I wish they didn't have the gold buckle, because I'm finding that limiting. For example, I'd love to wear red flats with a silver top.... but these won't work because the gold buckle clashes. Otherwise, I'm a huge fan of me-too's because you can walk all day in them. I had to size up 1/2 size - but I have to do that for *all* my ballet flats.

Def not too tight looking. I know what you mean though about shirts that have no give to them. I don't even bother trying on clothes that have no stretch--I find them too uncomfortable and no matter how nice they looked, they'd never get worn.

One question about the jeans - are these the straight leg Citizens you posted before? Would you say they fit true to size? They look awesome.

Continuing to try to wear things I didn't wear much (or, in this case, at all) this summer, before summer is completely gone. Day was 73, humid, and gloomy with spritzes of rain.

http://www.flickr.com/photos/2.....858433332/

http://www.flickr.com/photos/2.....otostream/

My only explanation for why I didn't wear this top yet is that everytime I'd put it on, it felt a bit tight and constrictive in shoulders and waist, so I'd switch out last-minute for something more comfy.

The material has zero stretch in it, and it didn't improve much during the day today (running errands with DD14 - no shopping for me; lots of shopping for her). It wasn't so bad and I got used to it. I also think I lost some weight effortlessly in Paris, and then I've been so busy since we returned, I may have lost a tad more too. Which helps.

What do you think? Does it look too tight?
